Helping You Meet Sustainability Goals Along with our state-of-the-art incineration services, we can manage all of your company’s hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. We employ an extensive auditing process in which only exceptional, compliant and fiscally sound third-party partners are approved. Through this network of complementary facilities, we can find the technology that is best suited for your company’s particular waste. Energy Recovery In addition to our hazardous waste incineration capabilities, we manage non- hazardous/non-regulated materials for waste-to-energy facilities. These facilities use both municipal and industrial waste to generate steam and electricity. Supplemental Fuels Many hazardous wastes have a great thermal potential that can be beneficially reused in place of purchased hydrocarbon-based fuels like oil and coal. We work with a thoroughly audited network of cement kilns that utilize the BTU-rich liquids in their processes. This alternate technology provides a cost-competitive solution for solvent and paint-related wastes. Waste Water Treatment/Cyanide Destruction We can manage your inorganic metal-bearing liquids and cyanides through Heritage Environmental Services, which is centrally located in Indianapolis, or another approved TSDF with similar capabilities. These wastes include such acids as nitric and hydrofluoric, caustics and wastewaters. Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Landfill We can provide all types of landfill options through our extensive network of approved facilities, including the Heritage-owned and -operated hazardous and non-hazardous waste landfill located in Roachdale, Indiana. No matter what type of treatment is best suited for your waste, we have an option available including: solidification, stabilization, microencapsulation or Miacroencapsulation (Heritage proprietary method). Universal Waste Recycling Whether you have lamps, ballasts, batteries of all types, mercury-containing equipment or even obsolete electronic equipment, we can provide a cost-effective and compliant solution for your particular recycling need. Recycling Universal Waste is environmentally friendly, while offering a cost competitive and sustainable solution for these types of materials.
